floyd pitch question

    well.. I was wondering how far those floyd on esp's can go. when i listen to alexi's solo it's like its going more than 2 or 3 steps up. but when i tried on my friend's jackson KVX10 its like.. going 1 step up.

    does your friends' jackson have a low profile floyd on it? Those have alot less upward movement than 'standard' style floyds. Other factors that affect how far the bridge will 'bend' are the bridge cavity depth, the pickup/string height, and whether or not the bridge was properly 'floated'.

      thanks for the info guys.. by the way the kvx10 is a mid level guitar... not so fantastic in my opinion but look nice... my friends always says his guitar is better than mine but... no mid range guitar can beat the 400 series :P
