Looking for info about this custom Random Star

    I bought this Japanese made Random Star back in the 80s.  It was originally sold at 48th Street Custom in NYC.  Is there any way to get more info about it?  In particular, I'd like to know if it has any real connection to Akira Takasaki, who was known to play guitars very similar to this one.

      If you meant if it was guitar used by Akira Takasaki, answer is no.

       

      Guitar you mentioned that looked very similar to yours is Random Star Mosaic used by Akira Takasaki.

       

       

      Since that exact model or variant of that color was never available directly from ESP Japan, it's a custom made order by a fan, but instead of making exact same copy, they decided to tweak it.

        Thanks for your response!  I never knew the pattern was called mosaic.  I always called it the Lego guitar.  Maybe one day I'll find out the full story of the guitar.  It's still fun to play!
