Hi All....I have this KH-2 Custom Shop from 1993. As suggested here I removed the neck and found indeed the marks on the neck and body.
Would anyone here know the exact meaning of those marks?
Thank you for your help!
Thank you Travis...yes I got lucky with that one a few years ago....Before removing the neck I thought it was a 1995 as it has a low serial number : 55

That's awesome man! A great score!
Great stuff! I should remove the neck off my KH2 one day to see what, if anything is written there.
Mine is a 2001 model from memory. I bought it new here in Australia.
Yes...Great site, got most of the info about my guitar there.....Thank you
would love to know more about those pencil marks on the body....

Awesome guitar Pat! I too own an old 1990's KH-2. I have a 1994 version. The writing on the inside I the neck cavity is the date it was actually made. So the 1993 Date is genuine. Not sure of the "S" or the "6" and "1" but my assumption is that the "S" is possibly the shop at the time and the "6" "1" are possible month and day. But I do know the 93 is obviously 1993.
Cheers!
