ESP M-II Standard Vs Deluxe
ESP M-II Standard Vs Deluxe
The M-II Deluxe series by ESP came out some time in the 90's...not an expert on them but from what I remember they are all bolt-on versions with a (licensed?!) floyd and most had the humbucker-single combo
not sure bout the woods used for the body/neck.
there a couple of guys on here who have them...maybe theyll jump in
My M-II deluxe was purchased new in 1998 (a 1997 model) and it has the ESP custom guitars logo stamped on the back of the headstock. It is bolt on, reverse headstock, with a bridge humbucker and neck single coil. It came with the original Floyd Rose bridge, which was great, but had ESP pickups, which I swapped for Duncans (distortion bridge and hot rails neck.) It was metallic purple, but was refinished to black two summers ago. Still one of my ultimate favorite guitars for going on 13 years! To get back to your question, I have no idea why it was labeled "deluxe" as compared to the standard series M-II models :)
any infos..?
the deluxe is build from custom shop..?
(it has a stamp at the back of the headstock "ESP Custom Guitars")
They use same woods?
