I could have purchased one off Ebay around 12-13 years ago for AU $2000.

Was a bargain at the time, but I didn't do it. I don't know why, for that price I should have just got it.

As cool as the Hetfield guitars are, my passion lies with the ESP Hammett guitars.

But yes, definitely was a good buy at the time.

I can have a look for you in France man, the last one I saw left for 1,900€ (USD $2100~).

If you can find a JH-2 for 2100 USD consider yourself lucky.

These guitars are hardly for sale and usually sell for at least twice that much.  

Yeah I've found that they are really hard to find.

I think the first step would be to find someone selling one and then discuss the price. I've seen some selling for $4k and $5k USD and I wouldn't mind paying that for this guitar.

Anyway, if any of you guys knows someone selling a JH-2 ,give me a shout

Thats to bad, I was thinking about letting mine go if you were in the USA. 

Rosewood requires CITES certificate shipping from a different country. 

I would go to the US and pick it up, I need some time off NZ anyway.
