ESP JH-2

I was thinking of buying a jh-2. But it does not come with a COA. Is there another way to prove that it is authentic? Thanks for your help.

Check the first fret. There should be a number inprinted in the fingerboard. And of course the overall feel of the guitar and it's quality should help you..

Thanks for the info.

It would be stamped under the 22nd fret. Close to the neck pickup, not the first fret.

nope! only the first 100 have serial on last fret!

Hey rappa666 - where did you get that info?

I had the same suspicion or alternatively that these were limited to 100 pcs since I literally never saw a JH-2 with number #96 or higher in 15 years. I used to have one of the extra ones made later on.

I have pics of a lot of them...trust me...

OK - I trust you have pictures of the guitars, but how do you know that #101-#200 didn't come with a stamp on the last fret. How did you identify them?
