ESP Circle stamp on head

Last month I bought one KH-2 neck thru custom and I noticed absence of esp circle stamp on back of the head...... someone know way ? tks....

It depends on when the guitar was built. In 2014 ESP stopped with the circle and added a gold world globe looking ESP Custom Shop Logo. The new sig series are all custom shop built now and not the SS serial numbers as in the past.

2013 was the 1st year ESP transitioned all production of the sig series to the custom shops. Not all the 2013 sig series guitars got the stamp or logo some did some didnt. I have a 2013 Alexi Greeny without but that model has it writen on the front and the serial number is "K" a Snow White Snakebyte also with a "K" Serial Number and no circle stamp but also have a Wilton from 2013 with the "T" SN with the circle.

I just purchased a 2013 KH-2 Vintage that didn't have the circle stamp. I was debating between that and a 2012 that did. I went with the 13 for 2 reasons...first off I felt the Sig Series circle stamp on the 12 was more in line with the SS standard series serial number where as the Custom Shop circle stamp was more congruent with the Kiso K numbers. In other words I felt that guitar was sending a mixed message, ha!

Also in the end I felt the lack of a circle stamp was more similar to Kirks actual KH-2 from the early 90's. I had to look back on some footage from Year and Half to find some shots of the back of the headstock and voila it was plain. So sounds like yours is similarly plain.

Hello I was wondering if this would be authentic at all. Not sure because I don’t see a serial number.
