ESP snakebyte changing color?

Hello all,

I have a snow white ESP snakebyte and just recently it has started to change color like the gibson's tend to do into a creme white color. Has anyone else experienced this with their snakebyte? I talked to a ESP rep and he really didn't have an answer for me. I have a white iron cross on order and I'm worried that it will change color as well.

You have it outside or in a case? Most likely sunlight or smoke is the problem. But it usually takes a while.

It's been in the case most of the time. Smoke free home and hasn't sat in direct sunlight. I hope the color change doesn't happen to my white iron cross.

Sounds like normal aging. The white on my white Ouija is a bit more yellow that the pickup covers. It's 5yrs old.

Yeah, that's true. But i would've thought it would take longer than a couple years to start aging. How does your white ouija look with the yellow color?

Big Daddy B

I really don't have any problems with it. It just looks older versus 5 years ago...like me.

Hahaha. My snakebyte definitely looks like a aged gibson now. I hope my white iron cross will look cool aged. Sorry about the botched se transaction. I feel kinda bad.

It's cool. Wasn't meant to be. Debating on a Mesa amp.

Nice!!! Which one? I have a mesa mini rectfier and i play it through a 2 x 12 rectifier cab. It's pretty still too powerful for my place.
