George Lynch M-1 Tiger Experience?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experience with the M1 Tiger? I'm really interested in it, but am a little hesitant with the Maple body. Is it a bright guitar? I remember reading that someone thought it was going to be extremely bright, but it turned out to be warm, whereas I've heard the reverse as well. I know guitars are unique from one to the next, but is there a general consensus?

It's going to be bright given the density and weight but ask Big Rich on here, he loves the tone he gets from it. It'll certainly cut through the mix.

Cool, hopefully he'll see this thread. Thanks.

Seems like a rare guitar...

I have a Kamikaze and an ESP custom shop based on a Kamikaze, but neck-through and both are maple bodied and I haven't noticed them being overly bright compared to my other guitars. I really like the tone from both of them.

My Kamikaze II has a warmer tone, now my M1 tiger is a VERY early model and I don't think its maple cause the weight is night and day compared to my Kami...........sorry I guess that didn't help one little bit, oops.
