ESP snakebyte only $999.99???

    I'm new to the forum! Anyways, I just bought a used esp snakebyte (not ltd) for $999.99 and I am wondering if the price on these has really dropped this much or did I just get a pretty sweat deal??

            I think the newest esp snakebytes come with them but older esp's and all ltd come with emg 81/60. But I could be wrong :\

              Thats what I thought too when I got mine at GC. Knowing how the HetSet looks like (because I have them installed on another guitar) the dude still tried to tell me they were them haha. I bought it anyway, something slightly different, but enough for me to like the stock EMG 81/60. The newer ones now come with the HetSet....

                nope.

                They originally came with the 81/60 combo and sperzel tuners.

                The newer ones have the JH set and ESP locking tuners.

                  the ESP site says hets in the ltd too. i was thinking that older models might not have them, but i wasn't sure how long snakebtyes have been around.
