    Are there any quality differences between the two? Or is the KH-2 SE basically a KH-2 NTB with a different finish and inlays?

    One has scalloped lower frets as well so if that is important to you then that's another. If you plugged both in blind folded through the same rig and I handed you each guitar, I doubt you would know which one you were playing unless you went low and then the scalloped lower frets would stand out. I think the finish on the new one is BA!

      If you step it up one and go for the custom shop KH-2 neck thru, you'll notice differences. All but one of those are positive differences (quality), although, price is the other one :lol

          It's £3300 here too, which works out at $5150 (US) just now. I'm glad it was 'only' £2375 when I got mine in 2003!
