It's really nice. I have the grey one, the sound is huge, it really kicks ass.
The black one is WIN
So how does it play/sounds...
As usual with ESP it plays great, a nice all round feel to the guitar, not heavy like the Gibsons. As for sound it's loud and thick!
The cleans are bright and clear even with my amp...think of the start to Day That Never Comes.
It's interesting, the "wear" markings on the guitar are similar to the gray version, but not the same.
Glad you dig the guitar!
There's a strange clear coating over the front grey wear mark only. It's not lacquer, more like a clear resin.
I thought it would be sanded, but it's more like a spray finish. The only true chips / wear marks are the smaller ones.
Can anyone concur?
