kirk hammett play neck thru or bolt ons?

    all the touring pics and my relic suggests he plays neck thrus and not bolt ons? someone said he played bolt ons exclusively around the 1996 era? anyone know? thanks

      he prob does but mainly when i have seen him play its been neck thru, just wanted to know some history

        he uses neck through..on mostly of his ESP guitars..i have seen him use bolt-on when he tried out the kh-2 signature. around 97 to 99..that's the only time i've seen him use bolt-on

          He has used bolt ons on tour, it's easier so fix or change the neck if the neck or headstock breaks or gets damaged
