is the kh-602 basically the m-400 with the kirk hammet inlays and original floyde rose? the reason i ask is because i knwo the kh-2 is the M-II with the kirk hammet inlays. and i was thinking of getting the 602, but if its like the m-400 i might as well save the cash and grab that. i have experience with the 202, is the 602 anything like it (feel wise)?

kh = $949 neck-thru
m = $589 set neck

really depends on how picky your are i guess.. feels too similar to really make a difference to me.. i think you'd get used to either... same width, same basic shape.. even tho I'm no Metallica fanboy, I'd still go KH-602.. i like neck-thru and two seperate volume controls... Not a fan of the arrowhead inlays on the M400, but it does have a bound neck which i like...

if that helps... you can call these guys to find out if they have any specials running... usually saves you 10% off the player price..

that's $854 shipped for the kh and $530 shipped for the m400 if they do... that might help...

The m-400 is set-through. Like a set neck, except a lot of the heel is carved away, so it feels like a NTB.
