TE-212 Tele-style questions for upgrades

    TE-212 Tele-style questions for upgrades

    I have a nice LTD TE-212 in Candy Apple Red, to which I'd like to make a few changes.  So these are my questions:

    • Tusq Nut: does anyone know the proper Tusq XL Nut to purchase for these?  
    • Tuners: I'm going to put locking tuners on; the standard import guitar uses 10mm tuner peg holes ... is this correct for the TE-212?
    • Pickguard: does anyone know if a standard Fat Tele pickguard (neck humbucker/bridge single coil) will fit this guitar other than the screw holes?  I only paid $200 for this guitar so I have no problem drilling a new screw hole or two in it.
