    I curious the neck thickness at 1st and 12th fret

    I don't have a 256 to measure, but the product page lists it as the same "Thin U" shape as the E-II and ESP Standard Series Eclipses. Those measure 20mm at the 1st and 22mm at the 12th. (Around .83" at the 1st and .89" at the 12th.)
