Is my EC 401 legit?

    Hi all, I recently bought f  a LTD EC-401 olympic white. 

     

     

    There's actually something unusual on that guitar.

    Each ESP/LTD I ever saw in my whole life, on 12th fret had a rectangular inlay where is reported the guitar model on it.

    In my guitar, 12th fret inlay is just the same like the others....

     

    Also EMG pick-ups seem lack of some strenght (hard to explain) but this could be because of low quality stock battery inside guitar (I still didn't try to change it).

     

    Another strange issue is that on truss rod cover is reported "EC 401" while it should be completely black

     

    Serial code is: W17060159  (made in korea)

     

     

    Could anyone help me to find out if my guitar is legit or a fake? Thanks in advance.

    It's legit. It was made at the end of 2017, which is when ESP started to remove the model number at the 12th.
