100-FM background info
100-FM background info
Hi, new to this site. Bought a 100-FM around two maybe two and a half years ago and it's only just struck me to look into the history of these guitars. Problem is... there isn't much... which is why I'd appreciate it if a guru happened to stumble upon this and spill the info.
Also, as a quick legitimacy check, my serial number is IR0414073.
I'll assume it's an Viper-100FM. Here's what the 2005 catalog had to say about it.

We'd need pics to give you a better idea of legitimacy, but the 100 level LTDs are not models that would typically be faked.
I'm not sure what history you'd want to know. It's a fairly nice guitar in the low price range. Based on the serial number it appears to be a 2004 model.
