Ltd MH 53 Schaller tremolo

    Greeting guys,

    I am considering replacing my Floyd rose special to Schaller Lockmeister.  My question would be, that is possible?. I measured the cavity and the new trem and the sizez in mm are more or less good. Has somebody tried to change the Floyd rose special to Schaller or OFR? Are lltd guitars routed to accept original floyds or Schallers?

    I'm not sure whether it will fit, but I'd recommend using the money you'd spend on the upgrade of the bridge and save it for an upgrade to the entire guitar.

        I have alredy upgraded the pickups, ToneZone bridge and Fast Track neck Dimarzios. My biggest fear about the tremolo upgrade that it will not fit. I do not know until i install it.

          The Lockmeister will fit right in there. Same dimensions as the Floyd Rose family.
