    Adding a floyd rose to a V-30

    Hey guys I want to add  floyd rose to my LTD V-300 but I'm having difficulty in knowing which locking nut size I should go with like a R3 or even closing a good one for it, any help is appreciated thanks

    By the time you paid for a Floyd and the work necessary to modify the guitar and have it re-finished, you would have spent more than the guitar cost when it was new.  There are a few older, similar shaped Vs that came with Floyds.  Keep your eye out for an old V-401 on eBay.  It's probably a better route to go.

      Yeah I asked and they said it would cost about  $300-$400 and thought about the MH103 but heard it didn't stay in tune to well
