LTD Gus-600EC: Weird Serial Number

So in November 2014 I bought an LTD Gus G signature guitar, it's the now discontinued Eclipse-shaped model with the SD Blackouts. Out of curiosity I decided to find out more about the construction of the guitar, based on its serial number. Looking up the "explanation" of the number online, the serial number on my guitar indicates it was made on the 15th day of the week, which is of course impossible. The number is W12051503, so we've got:

"W" (made in Korea), 12 (made in 2012) and 05 (5th week of the year). These add up. But the 15 right after? What's up with that?

I read somewhere that this method of numbering doesn't apply to signature guitars. If that's the case, what is the method of "cracking" signature guitar serial numbers?

Thanks in advance.
