    Hello everyone, I have a question. I bought Guitar ESP LTD M-100FM Made in China. I can not understand what the tree is made. Basswood and Agathis Body. Serial number is L090205 ............. Everywhere is different information. I change my pickups. What would be the most suitable for Rock and Metal Please help me. Thank you.

        See above- your guitar is made of Basswood.

        And as Buddha said, EMGs have become the Metal standard.

              I have a M100FM and tried a number of pick ups, I really like the sound of the EVO in the bridge and the Norton in the neck, with a high gain amp, you can get some nice Vai tones....I now have a custom wound fat pole screamer in the bridge.....
