    Iam thinking of picking up this guitar for myself..Esp Ltd 330r black would love to hear your thoughts.. Its a beginner guitar for me..38 years old and started playing a 1year 1/2 ago..never to old to learn new things I say.. I find playing my fender squier relaxes me and want to step up to a better guitar. esp ltd 330r black for 500 bucks or would you recommend somthing else Would really like to hear your thoughts. thanks

    Yeah, an LTD in that price range would be a huge step up in quality from a squire. I'm not familiar with that model though. I have an m300fm and I wish I would have stayed away from the Floyd special.

        Very true that it would be a huge step up in quality. I haven't heard anything regarding ESP's proprietary active pups yet, but I presume they can't be too terrible. Good luck and welcome!
