LTD V-401 pickups

    hey guys, ive an ltd v-401 with 2 EMG 81(bridge-neck). Actually im not disappointed with the sound im getting out of those pickups but i wanna get a more old school sound. Ive an engl screamer combo 50 watt. this time ill try passive pickups...but the question is what set would be better for old school thrash/death sound. Like...obituary/kreator/destruction/morbid angel etc. Should i go for Seymour Duncans or DiMarzio's? hope you can help =]

    Those are both great passive pickups but I've been hearing nothing but good things about the BareKnuckles pups (specifically the Pipebomb and Nailbomb series). I'm almost tempted to get a set of those and try them in one of my Vipers.
