EC-401, EC-1000, EC-400AT thickness?

    Are all EC's as heavy as the AT? My 400AT is pretty heavy, and it bugs me sometimes.

    I just tried out my friend's brand new EC-1000 VB today and it was a whole lot lighter than my EC-400VF. I don't have exact weights but we were both amazed by the difference.

    The body on the EC-1000 was thinner than mine. At first I though it was a lot thinner but the belly contour on the EC-1000 played tricks on my eyes.
