The ESP Guitar Company

Another newbie here. Name is Bob. I just bought a gl-256 yesterday. I've been playing for 32 years and always wanted to get one of these because they were inexpensive, and the relic look is in my opinion, over rated. What I mean is, before this model, you had to pay serious money for a reliced ax. This one does the job for $450. It has a cool vibe that didn't break the bank. And the fact I can mod it to my heart's content is icing on the cake. Only thing so far is the switch feels a tad flimsy and all the pots were loose. Oh, and the skunk stripe is sticking up an the low end of the neck - needs sanded down. Nothing that I wouldn't expect from a guitar a cheap as this. It has great bones though. It feels great and looks cool too. I'm looking forward to learning about esp guitars. I've actually owned one since 1989. It is a Kramer F1000 - lol Bob
