Is this a good bass?

    One of my local pawn shops has a mint condition LTD Deluxe J 1004 bass. It has the quilted maple cap, abalone binding, 21 frets. Anyone ever owned one? It's a beautiful axe...they originally wanted $599 for it, but they just marked it down 200 bucks to $399. I think it originally listed for close to $1,000 new a couple of years ago. Thanks.

    Sorry I didn't respond sooner...been out of town the past few days. Rex, it's actually in perfect condition...no blemishes or marks, sounds good as well...the only drawback is that's it's a bit heavy...over 9 lbs.
