Stock strings?

    What brand/guage of strings come standard on a new ESP ltd AX-400? I'm needing to change them for the first time and I really like the sound it has and don't want to mess it up!

      and yeah S.I.T. strings are pretty much crud... they just don't sound right.

        If you got it from a music store, first thing you should have done was change the strings.

        What tuning do you play? Have you ever checked the intonation?

          don't they come with ghs anymore?
          i hated those also, the seamed to eat into the new frets... got deep scratches into them, especialy the low strings.
          it got me all paranoid about fretusage.
