Need some feedback on the LTD FX400SM

    I am rather isolated on Cape Cod ,so I would welcome feedback on the FX400SM model . The specs say it has EMG active pickups an 81 in the bridge position ,and a 60 in the neck . I am not familiar with an EMG 60 . What does it sound like ??? Thanks , JBH

    the emg 60 is your best bet if your gonna be doing a bunch of cleans. thats what its primarily used for. or at least thats what I use it for.

      Its a great clean pickup. And sounds great distorted too (except for chugging) I use it most of the time over my 81.
