EC-400VF weight difference in 2007/2008 models

    Hi. New guy here. I searched but couldn't find any info on this... I have a 2007 EC-400VF, and I have 2 friends with 2008 EC-400VFs. Same finishes and all that. my 2007 is WAY HEAVIER than both the 2008s. The 2008s actually feel like they are chambered to me. Another difference is the neck. 2007 is slimmer. Anyone know if they started chambering the EC-400VF in 2008??? Thanks! -Johnny

        but ive played another 05 in the same series it was heavier i guess it all depends on the woodz

            Ok. I got a reply from ESP. As all you guys said...They are NOT chambered, and are definitely solid. They simply vary in weight just because they use different sources of wood.
