Pickguards are the devil. I wouldn't even have one on my strat if I could avoid it. Still... to each his own

i'm not the pickguard kind of guy, but that guitar looks sweet.

on tho original question:
if the SG has 22 frets, the pickups are most likely further apart from eachother then on the viper (with 24 frets), so the answer whould be no.
