New painting Project EC-400 Yes... Pics.

Hey guys, it's been a while since I painted/posted my last project on here, that V-350. Well, I picked up an EC-400 with a Gibson 500T and 496R pickups and have began documenting the work... It is silver with black stripes. So it shall have new pots as well. I still have some more sanding to do before I spray the primer. I am changing the hardware to chrome as well. And yes, I am changing the headstock logo to read ESP with a custom, as I don't plan on selling this guitar nor do I care if its a fake. Its just more fun to do the work myself. Just one question if anyone knows, how do you remove the bridge posts? I think there is a special tool required to do this but for the sake of getting stuff done, I just taped them up. Anyway, just wanted to share my project.

Well, shes pretty much done, safe for waiting on my shipment of knobs and tuners. Had to bore the body slightly to fit the Gotoh bridge, I am pretty satisfied with the way it turned out, really just want to play it already. Here are some pics, I signed my initials on the back of the headstock and slapped some decals on it.

Thanks, I don't like the way the green appears in the pics though, it really does look more like crayola green or rallye green. Not so tupperware-y.

i'm not really into the whole 'cars' thing dude, but i gotta say both those guitars are really cool. i'd be proud to own either one of them! nevermind paint them like that myself! the green turned out really cool.
