EC used to have a 60, wonder why the changed it. Personally, I really dislike the 85 in the neck (although it is pretty badass in the bridge) just sounds way too muddy for me. The 60 is much nicer for cleans and I actually rather like the 81 for solos in the neck position.
i have a feeling is cose of the 22 frets... (just guts).
and also, the "clasical shapes" like the EX and EC are the ones with 60's in the neck, while the more "radical" ones, like the F, etc, come with 85's.

F comes an 81 set...
I was wondering why EX had an EMG 60 on the neck and not a 85 like other shapes (excluding EC)
I was wondering why your avatar has a Floyd on it?
