Putting a pickguard on a pre-lawsuit EXP model

    k, so i'm "remodeling" my old pre-lawsuit EXP model (gibson style) and I wonder if anyone would know if the build is close enough to where a gibson cut pickguard would fit... that and anyone know where i might find one cheap?

      yeah it is, all black... i bought it with some damage to the paint... which i've been ghetto-rigging with black nail polish (my goal is to spend very LITTLE money lol)...

      i plan on replacing tuning heads, hardware (which is easy cause i'm swapping the bridge for one off my sg, same parts, different color), and i'd like to add a pickguard... make it look a little more "gibsoney"...

      any ideas on that?

        that helps me out perfectly, any idea if thats a pickguard for a '76 reissue? (which i believe was the gibson standard for a while)...

        i know that they aren't "very" different as gibson's go, but i like to be specific...
