Ec-1000 strings
Ec-1000 strings
Does anyone know what strings (guage/brand) come on the current EC-1000s. I am looking at buying one and have been playing a couple at some local shops and absolutely love the strings. I want to get the same type for my other guitars but can't find any info on what they are.

SIT 10-46s for after 2007 models, GHS Boomers 10-46 for 2006 and before i think.
Personally, what id do is get a pack of each type of strings you can lay your hands on and do a play test for say a week or two on eack pack of them, give yourself a short review and a rating out of 10 compaired to the stock ones, if you feel that the stock ones are for you, go for it, but if not go for a set of stock ones again. Strings are a real personal prefrence, i prefer EB strings but if i need to ill go to D Adds, or Fender strings as well.
