EC-1000 and SD Blackouts

    Has anyone had any experience with Seymor Duncan Blackouts? I have read some awsome things about them but was wondering what experiences you guys may have had. I am thinking about picking up an EC-1000 and swapping out the EMGs with the blackouts. I have a BC Rich that needs a neck pu so i can put the EMG60 in that and then only have the 81 left over. Could always sell it. Thanks

    Sounds like a good idea, although I suggest you hold onto the 81 and try it out in the neck position (Hammett style). Might as well experiment before you up and sell it. I just bought an EMG 60 and now I have a left over 85. I intend on rotating my 81, 85, and 60 all around just to compare. Might be worth trying, who knows.
