MH-250 Upgrades?

    I'm looking to purchase an LTD MH-250, and have a few questions. If in the future I decide I want an Original Floyd Rose bridge, how difficult would it be to install? Also, how difficult would it be to upgrade the pickups to an EMG 81/85 set? Thanks!

    Swapping pickups would be easy...although finding a spot to keep the 9v battery could be a little tricky.

      I keep hearing how much better the Original Floyd Rose is over the Licensed Floyd Rose bridge.
      If the Licensed Floyd Rose works well for me, I'll just stick with that as well.

        An OFR should be pretty easy to swap for the FRS, hardest part would be setting your intonation after the swap.

        You could also look for a FR 1000, not as expensive as the OFR but works just as well.

        As for pickups, better off sticking with passive, then its soldering in the new pickups, not ripping everything out, pots, jack, pickups.
