Dating/Help please!

    Hey Guys

    I wonder if i can ask for your help with this guitar.

    Trying to get an idea when and where it was made... as you can see, the neck plate is blank. I haven't pulled the neck off it. No serial number anywhere external.

    I am currently thinking it is mid-80s, made in Japan in the custom shop as i understand that they frequently used to use blank neckplates there. All hardware and the neck pup are ESP branded.

    Any guidance would be really useful

    I'd say your estimate is pretty close. Mid to late 80s.
