Hi,
I am trying to find some info on an old ESP guitar I have. The neck pocket has the date 3-12-86 and the headstock says ESP says ESP M-I. On the back of the headstock the serial number appears to be 6246.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!
Thanks for the info!!!
As for selling it, I wouldn’t know what it’s worth.
You’re welcome Steven, If you’re interested I’d offer 400 for it. Thank you, tony
Thanks for the offer but I’m keeping it, it’s an amazing guitar
Cool Steven, enjoy it. They are good guitars. If you change your mind let me know. Ant

Hi Steven, it’s an old M1 with a different headstock. I’ve seen them over the years. In 86’ esp was just starting to grow in the u.s. as more than a parts manufacturer. Unlike Gibson, etc. They didn’t have any set criteria or tradition yet as to what models should look a certain way. Like most guitar makers, they will use up existing inventory, or what is on hand. In 86’ the hockey stick was becoming popular due to their affiliation with George Lynch. Hope this helps. Would you be interested in selling this guitar. Thanks, Tony
