The ESP Guitar Company

I have 90's (I think) ESP MII Deluxe.  It appears to have a floyd rose on it. Although the guitar is in great shape, the trem is in pretty rough shape, however it does hold tune fairly well.

I would like to know if anyone has replaced the tremolo on one of these guitars.  Why did you replace it?  What did you replace it with? What modifications (if any) did you need to make?

If it matters at all, I am planning on stripping and painting the guitar at some point.  A custom paint job.  I don't believe this guitar has any real appreciated value as it's definitely been a "working man's guitar" with all the stress and patina that you would expect.
