    They are the same except that the Eclipse I has 4 knobs (an additional tone) and a shape even more similar to the Les Paul. There is a wider variety of finishes on the Eclipse I line, especially this year with the new 2009 models.

          Aren't the Eclipse II the only ones available in the States? They are the ones that usually have the shorter horn and 3 knobs. Arent' the Eclipse I are the ones available everywhere else and they usually have the longer gibson-esque horn and 4 knobs? I am not sure, this is just what I understand from my readings.

            eclipse 1 CTM - gibson horn , 4 knob ,(LPC custom features)

            Eclipse 1 FT - gibson horn , 4 knob , full thickness body

            eclipse 2 - usa horn and 3 knobs

            USA

            eclipse 2 - usa horn and 3 knobs

                          I like those CTM spec Eclipse's. I hate rosewood and prefer ebony and multiply blinding.
