Horizon VS M2

Just curious. Wich one do you prefer and why? need to help friends to choose but i really love horizons too much to give any good advice :|

Well they have they may look like the same but they are so different.

Not the same type of wood (body and fingerboard)
M-II has Floyd only but Horizon has string-thru too
Finish isnt the same
M-II has a reverse headstock.
Neck shape isnt the same.
Inlays.
Not the same pickups.

I prefer the M-II but both are great guitars

but i know horizon models can be (at least in europe)
of every wood combination...

With or without maple top.
I have one in ash and ordered another in alder (quilted maple top).

Pick up can be the same or change just in the neck position

so the differences that remains are:
Reverse headstock
Neck shape (but quite similar)
Neck paint |I (1 point for the m2)
inlays 8o
Top (m2 is flat)
Fingerboard

i don't think that would affect sound so much (yeah it does, but just mildly).

But the point is wich of the above features made you choose one instead of another?

I prefer M2s because I like superstrats to be shreddy, and the M2s neck shape lends itself to shred more than the horizon's does, imo.
