Pickguard for Eclipse II

Updated

I'm very anal about hurting my Snow White Eclipse II. So, does anyone know if its a lot of work to add a pickguard to a ESP Eclipse? I'm asking because I saw that the guitarist from 3 Inches of Blood has a ESP Eclipse I with a pickguard. -Thanks

Pickguards + LP guitars = ugly

Only a couple of screws, but I wouldn't, personally.

I wouldn't do it, either. But if you're shure let a pro do it. But I think you have to hurt the wood if you want to add a pickguard. Or isn't that right?

You don't want to hurt it, but you'll drill holes in it to add a pickguard.

Do a search on ebay for guitar bra...I'd use those if you want to protect it, but not change anything.

+1 dont do it dude

There are some drill-less Les Paul style pickguards on ebay. If you're going to go with a regular pickguard, you need to drill 2 holes in the body to mount it. 1 hole by the neck pickup and another hole on the underside of the body. I'd say keep it the way it is. Not worth drilling more holes in your guitar.
