Eclipse owners, what string gauge you use?

    I know the stock Eclipse's use 10-46 regular gauge strings. I was wondering if there wouldn't be a problem with the nut if I go for a lighter gauge? I know I have to adjust the neck tension, but I know the nut is cut for the 10-46 guages. What do you guys think?

        Iv used a set of 9-42 befor with no problems, Iv got some 12 -52s on at the moment though :hat

          I feel most comfortable with the 9-42 setup, but am itching to maybe go for the bottom heavy and light top style gauges.

              10-52 for drop C#. Tight bottom makes a great sound, loose highs for easy and nice sounding solos =)
