Great news, when is ESP going to update their descriptions so you can buy with confidence that the model you are buying truely has Stainless Steel frets and not a previously made model that had nickel?

Exactly. Thanks for raising this.

We can finally buy 7 string E II models with SS frets. This is amazing

I bought an e-ii in August 2023. It is not going to be in my hands until at least summer 2024. Should I expect stainless steel frets?

Cheers

Exciting news from ESP – they're giving their E-II guitars and basses an upgrade by adding stainless steel frets! These frets bring more durability and a smoother playing experience, especially for those who love fast bends and precise vibrato. This upgrade is happening across the entire E-II series, making these guitars and basses even more appealing for players looking for pro-level quality without the custom price tag. What do you think of this upgrade? Would you choose an E-II over a custom or LTD model? Share your thoughts!

Hello, if ESP already did the switch for the E II models... for how long is this?

I have an E II datet 2022. Does it havve stainless frets?

Thank you

Mike F.

If you read the article it clearly says stainless steel frets are being added to the lineup now.

"ESP had already made the switch to stainless frets" so I tought it  means that there are already guitars with stainless frets.

ESP introduced stainless steel frets for the E II lineup in 2023, but only for selected models. Now ESP are extending this feature to the whole E II lineup. I'm pretty sure that if you have a  E II with a 2022 serial frets are nickel

Tens of thousands of ESP customers have also asked to have ESP Standard back. Worst marketing decision in the company's history was the E-II line. Give us back ESP Standard!

It's a well known fact that having 'ESP' on the headstock instead of 'E-II' adds an extra five horsepower

That is great news!
