Unlocking The Truth "Breaking a Monster" Sweepstakes

We're pretty sure most ESP fans have heard of Unlocking The Truth by now. If you need a reminder, UTT is the band of young African-American metalheads who got together at age 10, and rose to fame several years ago by doing shows literally out in the streets of New York City. The resulting excitement gained them the kind of attention that most musicians only dream of getting. This included guitarist/frontman Malcolm Brickwell, who before his 13th birthday became the youngest ESP endorsee in the history of our company, as well as highly-publicized appearances for the band at big events like the Coachella Festival and an opening slot for Metallica.

Like bands of all ages, Unlocking The Truth hasn't found the road to success as simple as it might have appeared early on. The fascinating story of this still-teenaged group of three musicians is being told with a feature film called "Breaking a Monster", which follows the band as they move from obscurity to a massive record deal and beyond. It will be opening soon at theaters across the US. Meanwhile, the filmmakers are offering a sweet deal to one lucky person who might follow in the footsteps of UTT: a chance to win a gear package from ESP and Orange. In addition to a great amp, they are giving away an LTD M-200 Black Desert Camo, a killer guitar that has the kind of in-your-face vibe that Unlocking The Truth imparts.
